Client: Save The Children

Save the Children is well known but not known well. In the mass market space, they wanted to develop a powerful campaign that made people feel energised and connected to what they do as an organisation. To do this, we needed to find a way to convey the long-term work that Save the Children does beyond the ‘emergency response’, which has a clear beginning and end. We needed to demonstrate to the audience that the organisation is part of a much longer recovery and development journey, in the present and into the future.

‘Our Proudest Moments Are Theirs’ tells three powerful stories: that of Alice, inspired by the real-life midwife Alice Sumo, who delivered her first baby at gunpoint in war-torn Liberia; Ali, a young refugee attending school for the first time in a Syrian camp, and Milli, who is reunited with her mother in Bangladesh after being separated for a year. Through these narratives, we demonstrated how Save the Children’s work impacts the course of children’s lives every minute of every day all around the world.
